SUNDAYS 9:00 - 11:30 AM
Our Kindergarten program is a monthly drop-off program that provides a fun introduction to Jewish learning for great value and creates an easy transition to weekly classes in subsequent years.
This year, our Gan/Kindergarten program will be centered on Jewish learning through art. Kindergarten students will learn about Jewish holidays and values such as Rosh Hashanah, Sukkot, Hanukkah, and gratitude through a Jewish art project.
Our morning begins with a short, musical service with a teaching moment, led by our Clergy. Our students learn about Jewish holidays through music, crafts, and stories. Our Madrichim (Teen Aides) help facilitate this class with a Center for Jewish Learning (CJL) Instructor as part of their teacher and leadership training.

K-2 Temple israel Friends program
The Friends of Temple Israel Program allows your family to participate in Temple community life and enroll your child(ren) in Kindergarten through 2nd Grade in our Center for Jewish Learning (CJL) without becoming members until your oldest child reaches 3rd grade. In lieu of the annual membership, there is an increased school registration fee (for Kindergarten, 1st & 2nd grade).
To learn more about the Temple Israel Friends Program or if you do not have a Temple account to log into, please contact Robin Safarowic, Director of Finance and Membership, robin@tinw.org or call 914-271-4705 x124.
